To celebrate, the Roselle police and fire departments will compete in a hoagie-building contest (in honor of the chain's popular sandwiches) dubbed "Hoagies for Heroes," a " battle of will, bravery, and skill of sandwich building," the agencies said in a tongue-in-cheek statement this week.
The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 9 a.m. followed by Hoagies for Heroes at 9:30 a.m.
